MailExpress., a national business-to-consumer lightweight package delivery company, has changed its name to Streamlite Inc. The company specializes in reliable, trackable, guaranteed delivery of lightweight packages (under five pounds) at a low cost.

Founded in 2005, Streamlite serves more than 150 customers through its 20 distribution centers across the U.S. The new branding efforts will be directed at high-volume shippers in a variety of industries, including apparel and electronics retailers; financial and business services firms like marketing communications and fulfillment; and mail-order pharmacies.

“Just as a stream of water makes its way around obstacles in its path, we jump hurdles to deliver on time, every time,” explains Holly Noah, Streamlite’s marketing director. “‘Lite’ represents our lightweight packages and the visible, trackable journey they take from our customers’ docks to consumers’ doors.”

The company recently received $10 million in venture financing from various investors.

Leveraging its high-tech processing and logistics network, Streamlite tailors delivery solutions for its customers. Packages are scanned multiple times throughout the process, preventing misaddressed and misrouted mail from entering the mail stream. Once packages have been routed through Streamlite’s network, they are injected into the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) for “last mile” delivery.

The company is headquartered in Atlanta with distribution centers located across the country.
