John Ficker, a 33-year veteran of the transportation industry will assume the role of presidnet of NITLeague on September 1. He succeeds Peter J. Gatti will continue to serve the organization, though his role was not clearly defined in the July 30th announcement.

He is also executive director of the Transportation Marketing & Communications Association. In the same announcement, NASSTRAC said it had appointed Denny Grim, executive producer for Business to Business Communications, to increase membership.
