Pharmaceutical company Schering-Plough Corp. (www.schering-plough.com) has named Robert Boisclair senior vice president of global supply chain. He was previously senior vice president, manufacturing, with Merck & Co. Inc. Steve Chellevold, formerly head of manufacturing, has been promoted to chairman of global supply chain.
Retailer Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. (www.dickssportinggoods.com) has named Jerel Hollens senior vice president of supply chain. He will be responsible for all aspects of the supply chain, from the planning process to the sales floor, leading the areas of store allocation and replenishment, merchandise planning and analysis, distribution, and transportation. He was previously employed by Gap Inc.
Parker Hannifin Corp. (www.parker.com), a manufacturer of motion and control systems, has promoted John Myslenski to executive vice president of sales, marketing and operations support. He will direct the company’s worldwide sales and marketing, logistics, IT and operational support functions. He will also oversee strategic activities and realignment in Europe, including the region’s trading subsidiaries, distribution centers and manufacturing incubators. He was previously corporate senior vice president.
Nick Cullen has been named executive vice president and chief supply chain officer of apparel retailer Gap Inc. (www.gap.com). His responsibilities will include global product sourcing, quality assurance and distribution. He was previously president, North American supply, of Diageo.
Tom Escott has been named president of Schneider Logistics Inc. (www.schneiderlogistics.com), a subsidiary of truckload carrier Schneider National Inc. He was previously CEO of GeoLogistics Americas Inc.
Charles Gibson has been promoted to executive vice president-distribution and logistics of discount retailer Family Dollar Stores Inc. (www.familydollar.com). He was previously senior vice president of distribution and logistics.
Relocation company Graebel Companies Inc. (www.graebel.com) has named Robert Longenecker vice president of its global logistics initiative. He was previously chief operating officer for UPS Transportation Services.
Curtis Foltz has been promoted to vice president operations of CSX World Terminals (www.csxworldterminals.com), a global provider of terminal solutions and a subsidiary of CSX Corp. He was previously vice president and general manager, Latin America.
The Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Standards (VICS) (www.vics.org) association has named Tom Cole chairman of its board, filling a vacancy created by the resignation of Ron Griffin. Cole is vice chairman of Federated Department Stores. VICS’ mission is to work toward the improvement of the flow of product and information about the product throughout the entire supply chain.
