UNOVA Inc. (Everett, Wash.) has confirmed its name change to Intermec Inc. will take effect Jan. 1, 2006. On Jan. 3, the RFID, mobile computing and data collection systems manufacturer will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol IN, rather than UNA.
