Exel, one of the world's largest third-party logistics providers, recently opened a new distribution center in Taguatinga (near Brasilia), Brazil, to support the expanding operations of Farmasa, one of the country’s leading manufacturers of prescription and over-the-counter pharmaceuticals. Unidock, an Exel company specializing in pharmaceutical logistics in Brazil, will operate the facility where Farmasa will be the anchor tenant in a shared-user healthcare facility. Exel will provide warehousing and distribution services, inventory management and transportation management from the 38,000 sq. ft. distribution center.
