TLS IAG is a group of global transportation and logistics providers that works to create visibility in the supply chain through the use of RFID and other wireless technologies. Since its inception, TLS IAG has executed a series of pilots to evaluate the viability of RFID-enabled hardware and software for worldwide shipment tracking.
“Global companies are increasingly using wireless technologies in supply chain applications for shipment tracking, asset management, and for safety and security measures,” said Hollis. “As co-chair, I look forward to working with members on the completion of functional requirements and the establishment of global standards that can maximize the value and interoperability of these solutions for businesses and our customers.”
Hollis worked with GS1 EPCglobal to establish the TLS IAG. He is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and is an industry advisory board member for Ohio University’s industrial technology department.
