R.C. Willey Home Furnishings signed a lease for a 495,000 sq. ft. distribution center in Roseville, California. Headquartered in Salt Lake City, the company selected the Roseville location to support R.C. Willey’s stores in northern Nevada, the Sacramento region and California’s Central Valley.
“We are excited to enter the California market and provide a unique retail experience for those shopping for furniture, appliances, electronics or flooring. Roseville will be an ideal location to service our stores in Rocklin and Reno and future stores in the greater Sacramento area,” said Scott Hymas CEO of R.C. Willey
Occupancy of the building is scheduled for February 2006. The property is part of a 770,000 sq. ft. Hewlett Packard manufacturing and distribution facility that HP vacated after its merger with Compaq.
Founded in 1932, R.C. Willey sells furniture, appliances, electronics, flooring and beds. The company, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, has 2,400 employees with distribution centers and stores in Utah, Nevada and Idaho.
