Carrier Volumes Plummeted, Rates Soared Before July 4

Load volumes for carriers declined 22% due to business closures during the July 4^th holiday week, according to the DAT Trendlines report.  Van, reefer and flatbed rates all rose just before the holiday—as did fuel prices, by 3.3%. Click here to see a breakdown of all these figures.
