Would You Recommend a Career in Supply Chain?

July 18, 2025
MH&L wants to hear what supply chain professionals have to say.

While supply chain management used to be a nice, quiet career choice with clear expectations, that's certainly not the case anymore.

When COVID hit, it was this profession that kept business moving. And now with tariffs, supply chain professionals are busy adapting to profound changes.

Despite these challenges, a recent survey from the Association for Supply Chain Management, released in June of 2025, reported that supply chain professionals report high job satisfaction.

“Even as they navigate unprecedented disruptions and complexities, their ability to adapt, coupled with a potent blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills, translates into both strong financial rewards and a deep sense of professional fulfillment,” said ASCM CEO Abe Eshkenazi, in a statement.

(See an article on MH&L for further details on the survey. )

So, we wanted to hear how our MH&L audience felt.
