TMW System Upgrade Improves Load Planning

The latest release of IDSC MatchAdvice load-matching system adds shift-specific driver scheduling to reduce cost
Sept. 8, 2009

TMW Systems Inc. announced its Version 6.0 release of IDSC MatchAdvice power-to-load matching application adds shift-based driver scheduling, which can optimize worker assignments for fleets that operate in scheduled shifts. This is a productivity boon to produce, grocery and fuel delivery companies, says the company.

The MatchAdvice load-matching software has been proven to reduce costs and improve asset utilization for truckload carriers, says TMW. Along with reducing dwell time, in-transit delays and empty miles the software maximizes driver and truck utilization, claims TMW.

The software integrates with all major commercial dispatch systems, as well as custom or in-house managed operations systems.

“The new IDSC MatchAdvice v.6.0 can also identify multiple load consolidations onto a single truck for additional savings and efficiencies,” said David McKinney vice president of Professional Services for TMW.
