In January 2007, DFDS Transport will change its name to DSV A/S and its divisions will become DSV Road, DSV Air & Sea and DSV Solutions.

The acquisition of the Dutch logistics company Frans Maas provided some final momentum for the change. Over the years, the company’s names have caused some confusion, said a company statement. DSV A/S was the publicly traded name on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, but the company operated under DFDS Transport since the acquisition of DFDS Dan Transport A/S in 2000.
