Hillenbrand Acquires K-Tron

Hillenbrand is the holding company for Batesville Casket Co., a manufacturer of funeral services products.

After being adjusted for debt and estimated cash on hand, the expected purchase price of the transaction is approximately $379 million.

K-Tron will operate as a subsidiary of Hillenbrand.
