    QComp Packaging Cell

    QComp Technologies Inc. says its new Duet Packer Cell, consisting of one 4-axis robot and one 6-axis robot, can pack products into shipping cases or containers at 150 picks per minute and 45 pounds per pick.

    The packaging cell offers flexibility to accommodate last-minute product changes and redeployments, according to QComp. The cell’s first robot can present various product arrangements to the second robot, which packs the configurations.

    In addition to two robots, the Duet Packer Cell also includes integrated feed conveyors, Rockwell Micrologix PLC and a Panelview Plus 600 human-machine interface (HMI).
