SATO America Acquires AIDC Integrator

SATO America Inc., a provider of automatic identification and data collection (AIDC) technology, such as barcode printing, labeling and EPC/RFID, plans to acquire NODOS S.A., an integrator of AIDC and point-of-sale (POS) systems based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

In 1993, NODOS made SATO products its main product offering. NODOS plans to merge its software and hardware applications with SATO’s worldwide operations to support the joint development of new products for multiple industries and further SATO’s presence in the region.
