RFID technology specialist SMARTRAC, document tracking specialist RFIDTraxx and reader manufacturer FEIG ELECTRONIC have jointly developed an RFID system for comprehensive document management. The system is based on AssetTraxx software, a web based SQL Server solution that can be customized to specific requirements. It integrates into existing systems to automatically track all required documents. Users can perform full audits in minutes instead of days or weeks. Once a document is added to the system, an audit trail is created that shows not only the real time location, but also creates alerts when its location has changed.
