The new facility, in Lawrenceville, triples capacity for the provider of global freight transportation and supply chain services. Averitt’s previous service center was located in Norcross. The Lawrenceville facility is now the company’s third-largest—ranking just behind Averitt service centers in Nashville and Dallas.

Kent Williams, Averitt Regional Vice President for Georgia, explains, “In addition to completing our new Lawrenceville facility, we have integrated our service center operations in the Atlanta market from five locations into three stronger facilities. The end result will be a stronger, more streamlined Atlanta operation.”

Located on a 25-acre site, the new facility has 15,000 square feet of administrative offices, 52,000 square feet for operations, and 130 dock bays.
