WARRENDALE, Pa.—AIM Global is requesting nominees for its annual Automatic Identification and Mobility awards.
The awards, to be presented at the AIM Technology Leadership Summit on Apr. 21 in Chicago, recognize outstanding contributions in the automatic identification and data capture industry.
The Dilling award is presented to executives, scientists and engineers. The Percival award, named in honor of Don Percival, an early pioneer of barcode scanning, recognizes an individual or organization from the user community. Named in honor of Ted Williams, a long-time member of the AIM Global Technical Symbology Committee, the Ted Williams award is given to a professor or student. Finally, the Excellence in Journalism award recognizes a member of the print or broadcast media.
